RIVERSIDE, California – July 8, 2004 – SquashRadio celebrated "Independents Day,’ July 4th, 2004, by launching a revolutionary new music website that supports the Independent Artist by giving them the tools they need to develop their own independence and profitability. With resounding support from Independents across the country, the site showcases material from Artists who are joining in support of this new Independent endeavor. Mark Shrader, Founder/President of SquashRadio, who is a long time musician and producer himself, created the concept as a way to enable independent artists to more aggressively distribute their music.
