United Nations General Assembly in 1950 to observe 10 December
as Human Rights Day (resolution 423 (V)). The Day marks the anniversary
of the Assembly's adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.

July 9, 2004 - New York City; He has sold millions of records in Colombia, United States and Puerto Rico. After a two year hiatus Charlie Zaa returns with a new album and a new label. This colllection of 10 memorable songs of love, dreams and heartaches were recorded under the OLE music label and titled "Puro Sentimiento"

This talented Colombian crooner has a extensive career starting at a very young age. He was influenced by his father Luis Humberto Sanchez who in his own right is a very well known and loved artist in Colombia. By age 12 he was already performing with his father and by 16 was singing salsa with a well-known tropicals band like Grupo Niche and Orchesta Guayacan.

But it wasn’t until he returned to his roots that his career soared. His first solo album "Sentimientos" sold over 1 million copies. Since then the rest has been history. Hit after hits were pumped out from Un Segundo Sentimiento, Ciego De Amor , Flor Sin Retono and if that wasn’t enough he even created his own rendition of a very famous folkloric song "La Pollera Colora" that till this day is one of his fans favorites.

Now Charlie returns and promises to melt the hearts of his fans with this memorable collection of love songs, love songs that only Charlie can offer. This new album without a doubt will be a collectors item for his adoring fans.
