LEGACY DESIGN GROUP CHOSEN TO SUPPLY UNIQUE PHOTOGRAPHIC METAL ETCHINGS FOR VETERANS MEMORIAL

MOORPARK, Calif. – The Legacy Design Group, Inc. has been chosen to supply permanently colorized stainless steel photographic etchings for a new veteran’s memorial being built in Sierra Madre, California. The memorial is unique in that it will consist of up to 1,344 photographic images etched onto colorized stainless steel. Each image will be roughly 3’ x 5’ and display a local veteran that has served in the U.S. armed forces, beginning with the Spanish-American War. A new unique technique of etching digital images onto permanently colorized stainless steel will be utilized. The process was developed by the owners of the Legacy Design Group specifically for a project at Walt Disney World® - Epcot Center® in Florida.

"We are proud to be able to supply our veterans and the people who have supported them, with a lasting memory’ said David Postal, President of the Legacy Design Group. "The ability to see the veterans name and image will leave a powerful impression on everyone who experiences this memorial.’

The Sierra Madre Veterans Committee is looking for veterans that qualify to be part of the memorial. If you are a veteran who lives or has lived in Sierra Madre for one year or more (or if you know someone who fits that description) you are eligible to be included in the memorial at no cost. Interested parties should contact the Sierra Madre Veterans Committee at web site: www.sierramadreveterans.org or phone: (626) 355-7720.
