All States and interested organizations were invited by the
United Nations General Assembly in 1950 to observe 10 December
as Human Rights Day (resolution 423 (V)). The Day marks the anniversary
of the Assembly's adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.

The approximate 11 acre industrial site, which was formerly used to produce roofing and siding shingles, is composed of over 10 buildings and structures. From a redevelopment standpoint, the site is a designated Brownfield site. Dallas Contracting’s scope includes demolition of all buildings and structures including foundations, asbestos abatement, crushing of concrete, masonry and brick for future utilization as backfill and removal of debris.
