Premio Brings Hyper-Threading Power to Notebook Computers with New Kaypro A1200

(PRLEAP.COM) Premio Computer, Inc. announces the release of its latest notebook computer, the Kaypro A1200. Combining Hyper-Threading technology and 800FSB performance, the Kaypro A1200 notebook computer targets education, home, and business users who want an affordable, powerful and expandable desktop replacement.

Based on the SiS661FX chipset, the A1200 supports Intel® Pentium® 4 processors with Hyper-Threading technology, which enables simultaneous execution of two software applications while maintaining high performance levels. This laptop computer scales up to 1 gigabyte of DDR 400, 333 or 266 memory. Its 15-inch XGA screen delivers crisp 1024x768 resolution and dual view support for simultaneous LCD and CRT output.

Integrated features include 10/100 local area network, audio, video, modem, FireWire, and four USB 2.0 ports. The notebook also offers several convenient features, such as hot launch keys for email and web browsing, simplifying the user’s computing experience.

Like all Premio PCs, each Kaypro A1200 notebook computer is built to order, allowing customers to create the ideal system for their needs. For example, the optional 802.11g internal wireless module with antenna lets customers build a fully mobile solution, while the swappable optical drive bay offers the choice of a CDRW/DVD combo drive or a DVD+RW burner.
