Found at www.ariatv.com, ARIA TV Sports will provide coverage of pro cycling events including the Wachovia USPRO Championship, classic European races like the Tour Mediterraneen and Tour of Basque Country, the T-MOBILE INTERNATIONAL, presented by BMC Software, and The Tour of Connecticut to cycling fans around the globe. "ARIA TV Sports allows major races to be seen by anyone with broadband access, anytime, anywhere in the world, explains John Eustice, race director for the Tour of Connecticut who also serves as ARIA TV Sports’ content and strategic advisor. "It opens up international markets for these races, and represents the most exciting development in the sport in years.’ Along with Eustice, putting practical muscle and know-how behind the programming is past Wachovia USPRO Champion and pro triathlete Chann McRae, another advisor for the new network. ARIA TV Sports will offer original content not available on cable or dish networks via streaming video and video on demand in order to provide an archive of content that subscribers may have missed. The service will be launched on May 5, but until then free samples of the Tour Mediterraneen 2004 are available at www.ariatv.com.
