as Human Rights Day (resolution 423 (V)). The Day marks the anniversary

Univision's Maria Elena Salinas Receives 'Outstanding News Anchor' Award From National Hispanic Media Coalition



(PRLEAP.COM) MIAMI, FL — María Elena Salinas, co-anchor for the Univision Network’s national newscast, Noticiero Univision, has been honored with the National Hispanic Media Coalition’s "Outstanding News Anchor Award" for 2004. She was unanimously chosen by the NHMC’s board of directors for her exceptional achievements in Spanish-language broadcast journalism.

The prestigious award was presented to Salinas at the NHMC’s 7th Annual Impact Awards Gala, which was held in Beverly Hills, California on March 5, 2004
