Date: 2003.10.03 10:00:22 Category: Legal From: John Bowie Company: LawFuel Phone: +64044764537 (PRLEAP.COM) A new law firm press release service from a New Zealand online news service is attracting interest from some of the world’s largest law firms. Lawfuel started life in 2001 as a law news service and has since developed into one of the Internet’s largest, online law letters, reaching over 70,000 attorneys and others each fortnight. The recent re-design of the Lawfuel website has attracted high visitor numbers, combining hard-edged law news, with law firm press releases and law articles. Traffic to the Lawfuel site has trebled in the past three months, says founder John Bowie. "We have tried to make our news compelling and interesting, which includes our law press releases. Too many law firms seem to feel their every reference should be prefaced with words like: ‘Internationally renowned law firm . .’, but the fact is they want their news read and have to present it accordingly. "I believe Lawfuel’s unique combination of news, press releases and legal research makes it highly attractive to firms," Mr Bowie said. The new service is also spidered by Google News and offers editing and other services to its law firm clients. |
